Lucy has had a passion for working with animals for as long as she can remember. Having worked across various equine settings from livery yards, riding schools to stud yards, Lucy gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in England and USA. After completing her equine studies, Lucy worked in operating theatres and various departments, gaining knowledge and experience in surgery, anatomy and physiotherapy.
Lucy has worked at mixed veterinary practices and has gained a vast amount of experience in all areas however, rehabilitation is where her passion lies. Lucy enjoys working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a unique service to every patient who comes through the doors. With a strong interest in land based and therapeutic handling, Lucy aims to expand her knowledge even further. Qualified at K9 Services in Suffolk in January 2017, Lucy gained a certificate in K-Laser therapy.
Away from work Lucy is a mummy to two little girls. She also has two Black Labrador Retrievers, Gunner and River and rabbits, Flopsy and Mopsy. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking, paddle boarding, exploring the Lake District and family days out.
