Maliha is one of our Clinical Directors, she qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2014. She completed a Certificate in Advanced Practice in the area of surgery in 2018 and has a keen passion for soft tissue surgical procedures and key-hole (laparoscopic) minimally invasive surgery.
Maliha is one of the few Brachycephalic Functional Grading Assessors in Lancashire and offers a service to assess the respiratory grading of brachycephalic (short snouted) breeds such as Pugs, French Bulldogs and Bulldogs. She regularly performs surgery to improve respiratory abilities of these breeds.
Maliha started her Vet career here at Myerscough Veterinary Group where she trained as a new graduate before spending a few years away managing practices on the Isle of Wight and in Cheshire. She is very happy to be back with the team that she learnt so much from at the very beginning!
In her spare time she enjoys keeping a variety of poultry and exotic birds including peacocks and parrots. She can also be found weight lifting and oil painting!
