About Us

Our experienced team are here to help

The practice dates back to the early 20th century and has been in the Myerscough family for over 50 years.

Originally based in Clitheroe, the 24 hour centre was opened on the A59 at Clayton Le Dale in 2009, when the farm and pet practices were established as separate entities. The Clayton site has been extended four times since opening to provide spacious, modern facilities allowing skilled staff to care for your pets around the clock. There are now 18 centres across Lancashire. With a focus on clinical standards, client care and the provision of a 24 hour veterinary service we continue to invest in our people, equipment and premises.

Many of our branches are fully equipped for surgical procedures alongside consultations and we have four specially fitted ambulances offering patient transfers between branches. All of our branches have been inspected and accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons under the Practice Standards Scheme.

For those unforeseen accidents or when your pet is taken ill suddenly, we offer a 24-hour emergency service run by our own team of vets with trained staff on site around the clock at our main centre in Clayton Le Dale. This means that whatever the problem, our team are always there for you and your pet any time of the day or night.

Over many years we are happy to have helped thousands of pets and their owners. We are committed to continue to deliver the highest level of care to you and your pets. If you would like to know even more about us, please call into any one of our branches to meet our team.

Careers

In an expanding practice vacancies often arise for veterinary surgeons, nurses, nursing assistants and receptionists and we are pleased to hear from anyone keen to work in a veterinary environment.

Our aim is to be the employer of choice in the area and we offer a supportive environment in a well organised, dynamic, diverse organisation. We are ambitious for our company and our staff,  many of whom are studying for extra qualifications.
