Dr Roslind McKenzie

I graduated as a veterinarian from Onderstepoort at the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2008.  Previous to this I did an undergraduate degree and an honours degree in Zoology.  I have worked in general practice as well as in the welfare sector in South Africa, where I developed a strong interest in soft tissue and emergency surgery in the last few years. 

I moved to the UK in March 2019 with a view of furthering my surgical career by starting a certificate in small animal general surgery.  I am currently studying towards a certificate in small animal surgery through Improve International.  

I am strongly focussed on increasing my exposure to more and varied surgeries and have experience in orthopaedics. 

Outside of work I enjoy spending time my dog Faith, painting and playing hockey.
